The name of my blog comes from the banter back and fourth that I deal with on the first day of school.
The teacher looks around, then back down at the paper, and begins to twist her mouth as if to pronounce my name better, "DE-Annnnn...DE-OANnnnn..."
"It's Diandra."
"DE-AN.."
"No, Diandra."
"DIE-ANN"
"JUST CALL ME DEE, okay?!!"
"D?"
"Yes, just like the letter D"
